A deadly missile exploded in Poland that Ukraine and Polish authorities suspected as Russian-made missiles. The US president Joe Biden says ‘unlikely to be fired from Russia’.

On November 15, a missile suspected russian-made, hit Poland and killed two people.

The missile exploded at Przewodow, a village in eastern Poland, 6 km from the border with Ukraine.

Though the Poland President Andrzej Duda is still not confirmed about the missile’s. origin,  “We do not for the moment have unequivocal evidence of who fired the missile,”

The Russian government has denied that its missiles hit Poland, saying “statements by Polish media and officials…are a deliberate provocation aimed at escalating the situation.”

Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau summoned the ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Polish MFA and asked for an immediate detailed explanation on the incident.

After the missile blast in Poland the Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, U.S. President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arranged an emergency meeting of global leaders in Bali, Indonesia, November 16, 2022. The leaders of the US, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Netherlands, Japan, Spain, Italy, and France took part in the meeting.

The US president Joe Biden was speaking after an emergency meeting with global leaders at the G20 Summit in Bali. The US President Joe Biden states “There is preliminary information that contests that. I don’t want to say that until we completely investigate it but it is unlikely in the lines of the trajectory that it was fired from Russia but we’ll see.”

He also stated that the US and the NATO countries will fully investigate this incident and act as per the report.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a talk with Poland’s president Duda and expressed condolences over the incident. “We exchanged available information and are clarifying facts. Ukraine, Poland, all Europe & world must be fully protected from terrorist Russia,”.
